RIDERCAM© On-ride Video Systems for Two Coasters at Port Aventura in 2007

Seville, Spain (January 31, 2007) - LAGOTRONICS B.V. and Ridercam GmbH will provide two DVD on-ride video systems for Spanish theme park, Port Aventura in 2007.

RIDERCAM© allows visitors of the park to buy a personal DVD of their own ride on the coaster. RIDERCAM© offers significantly more than just static pictures. RIDERCAM© captures the passengers' entire experience on a rollercoaster or water ride onto a personalized DVD.

Port Aventura got the attention of RIDERCAM© and immediately found out that this would be a perfect feature for their 2007 new INTAMIN Wing Launch Coaster. But Port Aventura not only wanted a RIDERCAM© for the new coaster. They also decided to have RIDERCAM© installed on the new trains of "STAMPIDA" which is the park's famous wooden rollercoaster.

RIDERCAM© is not just a camera on a coaster! The RIDERCAM©-experience starts while the guests are waiting in line. Flat screens display spectacular promotional trailers making customers aware of new attractions, heightening their anticipation for the upcoming ride. After boarding, the RIDERCAM© system immediately begins recording the adventure. Every moment is captured, from the beginning of the lift hill to breaking at the end. Right after exiting the car, the passenger arrives in the RIDERCAM©-shop where flat screens display short clips of the previous ride, letting the customer relive the thrill. After ordering, it only takes a couple of minutes to burn the personalized movie onto DVD. Park operators' individual wishes can be considered. Selected park video clips and photos and/or stock theme park attraction videos can be added to the final DVD. At home, customers not only see their individual ride, but also receive a broad overview about all the other attractions featured at a park. As on-ride still pictures became less popular because everybody has their own digital camera or even cell phone to make their own pictures, a personal DVD of a rollercoaster ride is the latest development to boost merchandising income.

In January 2007, Carlo Görtjes, president of LAGOTRONICS B.V formed a partnership with Ridercam GmbH to market this amazing new technology. Mr. Görtjes will also be responsible for the operation of the system and he is confident that RIDERCAM© will boost the revenue-generating potential of the personalized ride souvenir experience. "Everybody will show their personal DVD of their ride at home to their friends and share their experience! After a pre-installation in the classic dueling wooden coaster "STAMPIDA" in summer 2006 Port Aventura found out that our quality standard is outstanding and consistent with their expectations. Ridercam GmbH is based in Oberhausen, Germany, and was founded in September 2005. Prior to the formation of Ridercam GmbH the developers designed and manufactured medical equipment for endoscope procedures.

Lagotronics B.V based in Venlo, The Netherlands was founded in 1979. The company is specialized in lightning, sound, video and show control equipment for TV- and theatre shows, theme- & leisure parks.
